A full battery will allow you to stay in touch with family and friends and contact the marina staff if necessary. You can also use your phone to play music via Bluetooth, take photos or record videos to capture your marine adventure. In an emergency, a phone is essential to call for help.
Warm clothing
Dress appropriately for the weather. Even in the warmer months, it can get chilly on the water, especially in the evening. A light jacket or sweatshirt will help you stay comfortable.
Sunscreen
Protect your skin from the sun. UV rays are stronger on the water, so using sunscreen is essential.
Sunglasses and a hat
Wear sunglasses and a hat to shield your eyes from the sun and protect your face, which will increase your comfort while cruising.
Water and snacks
Remember to stay hydrated and bring energy snacks. Food and drinks are not provided on board unless specified in the rental agreement. However, you can arrive earlier before the cruise and stock up on supplies for a picnic on the water at the bars and restaurants on the WIR barge.
